Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Ynturn, including the website at www.ynturn.com, related apps, chats, and Premium features (the "Service").

By creating an account or using Ynturn, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What Ynturn is

Ynturn is an adults-only entertainment product. You create a fictional Y/N persona and exchange text messages with AI portrayals of characters in story scenarios. Conversations are fictional. They are not real relationships with real people, and they are not professional advice of any kind.

3. Eligibility (18+)

You must be at least 18 years old to use Ynturn. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement. Any content involving minors, including fictional minors, is strictly prohibited.

4. Accounts

• You are responsible for your login credentials and activity.
• Provide accurate signup information and keep it reasonably up to date.
• Your chat identity comes from the You form ("What should they call you" and "How do you show up in this chat"), not necessarily your signup display name.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for the Service or other users.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Create, request, or attempt to generate sexual or exploitative content involving anyone 17 or under (real or fictional)
• Use Ynturn for illegal activity, harassment, scams, malware, or unauthorized access
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape at abusive scale, or disrupt the Service
• Impersonate Ynturn staff or misrepresent AI replies as human messages from real individuals
• Upload illegal content or content you do not have rights to upload
• Abuse AI usage limits, payment systems, or other users' privacy

We may remove content, rate-limit usage, or ban accounts when we reasonably believe these rules were broken.

6. AI-generated content

Character messages are generated by AI models and can be inaccurate, inconsistent, explicit, or unexpected. Ynturn does not guarantee that replies will always match a character, version, or your preferences. You are responsible for how you use and interpret chat content.

Do not rely on Ynturn for medical, legal, financial, mental-health, or emergency advice. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of the text and images you submit (persona details, messages, avatars). You grant Ynturn a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and display that content as needed to operate and improve the Service, including sending necessary context to AI providers to generate replies.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit that content and that it does not violate law or these Terms.

8. Our content and brand

The Ynturn name, design, product UI, prompts, and original story packaging are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, resell, or exploit the Service or our branding except as allowed by these Terms.

Characters appearing on Ynturn are used for fictional entertainment roleplay. Ynturn is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the owners of any third-party character trademarks unless we expressly say so.

9. Free and Premium plans

• Free accounts may have daily AI message limits and persona limits.
• Ynturn Premium is a paid subscription billed through Stripe.
• Prices, benefits, and limits may change. Material changes to paid plans will be reflected on the Pricing page and/or checkout.
• Unless required by law, subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started.
• You can manage or cancel renewal through the Stripe Customer Portal from your Profile when available.
• Taxes may apply depending on your location and Stripe Tax settings.

10. Availability

We aim to keep Ynturn available, but we do not guarantee unbroken uptime. Features may change, pause, or end. AI providers, payments, email, or hosting outages can affect the Service.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ynturn and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or emotional distress arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid to Ynturn for Premium in the 3 months before the claim or (b) EUR 50, except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law (including mandatory consumer protections).

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ynturn and its operators from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

14. Termination

You may stop using Ynturn at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that should survive termination (including IP, disclaimers, and liability limits) will survive.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA/UK, you also keep any mandatory rights that cannot be waived under the laws of your country of residence. Courts of competent jurisdiction in France will hear disputes, subject to those mandatory consumer protections.

16. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. If you continue using Ynturn after the update, you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.
